This double gauze is made with a traditional Japanese manufacturing method called “Wazarashi” with a lot of time and effort.
The Wazarashi process carefully washes and removes impurities so as not to damage the fibers, making it soft and comfortable to the skin. The feature of this fabric is that it has a very good quality.
100% natural cotton, high quality domestic fabric from weaving to dyeing.
The strength is about three times greater than that of ordinary fabrics. It is highly breathable and water-absorbent, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter, making you comfortable all year round.

Care Instructions
To maintain durability, it is recommended to wash the quilt inside out and put it in a net to avoid damage to the fabric.
Do not tumble dry or bleach with chlorine bleach.
After washing, shape the garment and hang dry in the shade.
Made to fit to standard Japanese shiki futon (mattress) sizes.

The shipping was quite fast and the packaging was more than adequate. The texture of the cover is smooth and soft, very pleasing to the touch, and makes for a very comfortable rest. The color is pleasing and consistent. The stitching is also well done. Only caution I would offer is that the zipper is small and delicate. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it is the most likely point of failure for the product so treat it with some gentleness. Overall it is exactly what was advertised and is a solid high quality product. I would recommend giving this company a shot.
The quality of the fabric far exceeded what I thought I would receive.
My shikibuton is an unusual size and this shop customized my order even though I was willing to “make it work”….and did not charge extra! The material is quite beautiful and worth every penny. It is soft and with a subtle sheen which enhances the gorgeous fall-like deep orange/brown. The cover fits perfectly. I haven’t yet washed it but plan to wash in cold water, damp dry in dryer, then finish drying on rack. I highly recommend this shop! You will not be disappointed!
