What is zabuton?
This is our handmade hadakake futon. “Hadakake” stands for “cover the skin” in Japanese. This our artisan made quilt is thinner and lighter than the standard kake futon. Its amount of cotton filling is half of that of the standard kake futon.
This is a nice photo review from Alexandra in the U.S. She wanted to customize the size of the futon to fit her tatami bed. We are glad she liked it! We will be happy to customize like this for you. The maximum size is 200x150cm (78 "x58") a Japanese queen. This is the finished size. We can't make a futon larger than that.
