It is smaller than the size of a standard futon to avoid bending.
This pad is made of Japanese rushes (produced in Kyushu). Each strand is thick, with a thick outer skin and fine fibers, making it resilient and durable. The use of undyed rush grass makes it soft, smooth, and conforms to the body.
Usually, rushes are dyed with mud to keep the grass green and to prevent it from tanning.
This product is made of un-dyed rush grass without this process. Unlike rush grass that has been dyed with mud, this product is made of rush grass as it is, so it is ideal for sleeping directly on.
The benefits of rush grass are as follows
1. 2.5 times higher moisture absorption than cotton
2. less steamy.
3. Lower temperature by absorbing moisture due to perspiration, which promotes comfortable sleeping.
4. Reduces the smell of perspiration. Chemicals that cause sweat odor are reduced by more than 90%.
The weaving method of rush grass was changed to twill weave. This weaving method uses 1.4 times more Igusa than the normal weaving method. Therefore, the product is thicker, stronger, and more resistant to abrasion.
There is a seam line in the center of the double size pad.
When not in use, it can be rolled up and stored compactly.
Also can be used for bed spring mattresses.
Caution in use
*The color of the edges may look different from the color of the center, but this is not mean that the product is defective. The difference in color is not caused by color fading or exposure to sunlight. It is due to the natural characteristics of rush grass.
