Magewappa is a traditional handicraft utilizing the uniform and beautiful grain of Akita cedar, one of the three most beautiful forests in Japan. Akita cedar is a rare tree and is valued as a tool for daily life.
Akita is located in the northern part of Japan where winters are severely cold, and craftsmen there carefully make each item by hand.

Urethane treatment is applied to prevent seepage into the body material.
Caution in Use (a card with instructions for use in English is enclosed)
If the smell is bothersome at the beginning of use, soak the container in lukewarm water several times and place it in a well-ventilated place (do not lay the container face down, or it will become moldy).
If you damage the surface coating with chopsticks or other objects during use, moisture will enter the container and stain it, so please handle it carefully.
The product cannot be used over an open flame, in a microwave oven, or in an oven.
Wash with dishwashing detergent after use. Do not use hard scrubbers, polish, bleach, dishwashers, dryers, etc.
Do not soak in water for a long time.
