Needle punch processing is a manufacturing method where overlapping thin fibers are intertwined and compressed using numerous needles, tightly bonding the fibers together. This results in a dense and durable mat with high structural integrity.

This product is treated with natural Hiba wood extract sourced from Aomori Prefecture, Japan.

Using proprietary processing technology, Hiba essence is infused into the material. Hiba extract contains hinokitiol, a naturally occurring compound known for its antibacterial and deodorizing properties.

Compared with untreated products, the Hiba treatment helps maintain freshness while adding the pleasant, forest-like aroma characteristic of Hiba wood.

How to care

  • Before use, wipe with a dry cloth.
  • If a liquid is spilled, do not rub hard, but absorb it with a tissue asap.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner for daily maintenance.
  • Occasionally, place it in a well ventilated area indoors. This will prevent the formation of mold.
  • Do not wash.
  • Air out in the shade.
