This item is a cover for a futon mattress. It does not contain any cotton filling. Please make sure you are ordering the correct item.
Fabric - 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. This is the same fabric used for our GOTS-certified organic futons.
Opening - Wide side zipper for easy insertion and removal of the futon. The cover fully encloses the futon.
This fabric was selected to provide a good balance of lightness and durability for use as a futon cover. It feels soft and comfortable against the skin, even in humid weather, and becomes softer with repeated washing.
For Natural Beige only, the fabric is unbleached, so you may see tiny natural brown specks from the cotton plant. These are harmless and are a natural characteristic of the material.

Combining both Shikifuton from FutonTokyo and normal Western bed give all the comfort and convenience I need for my pregnant wife. Shikifuton gives us the ultimate comfort and support, while the Western bed adds bounciness and height to allow easy movement for my pregnant wife to get out of the bed.
They have variety of futon which is suitable for Singapore's hot and humid climate and for cold aircon room too.
I choose futon as my primary bed because I sun dry my futon over our HDB window or condominium terrace and this sun drying step keeps the bed hygienic, dry and puffy.
Moreover, sleeping on futon also provides that support and alignment to my back which is beneficial for health too.
I waited before writing this review. I've been sleeping on this futon, directly on the floor, for over a month now. I got used to it after a week (and after adding a carpet between the wood flooring and the futon). The futon is folded up every morning and I have never slept better.
