A foldable tatami mat made with Japanese igusa rush grass. Its five-fold design makes it easy to unfold when needed and store compactly when not in use.
The surface features an Edokomon-inspired pattern in black, giving the mat a subtle traditional Japanese look without feeling overly decorative.
The natural igusa surface has a dry, comfortable feel and can be used throughout the year. Igusa also helps absorb and release moisture, making the mat suitable for use underneath a Futon Mattress (Shikifuton).
The mat has a three-layer construction with a polyester felt inner layer for gentle cushioning. The non-slip backing helps keep it in place on hard floors.
It can also be used as a floor mat for relaxing, stretching, children’s play, or other everyday activities. For routine care, simply wipe the surface when needed.
