“Zawawa” is the onomatopoetic word that often describes the sounds of sugar canes rustling in the wind. This natural rush grass pad will bring you a relaxing time as if you’re lying down in the soothing wind.
Please note : this item is narrower than most of single futon mattress. (width 34.6″ / 88 cm)
There is no elastic bands attached.

*The color of the edges may look different from the color of the center, but this is not mean that the product is defective. The difference in color is not caused by color fading or exposure to sunlight. It is due to the natural characteristics of rush grass.

The pad is quite thick and well made with the rush strains woven tightly together without any gaps at all - very sturdy. The color of the binding of the pad matches well with the the rush material which extrudes a nice earthy smell. It’s indeed comfortable to sleep on this pad with the smell Mother Nature lingering in the air.
