Yabane (arrow feather) is one of the typical traditional Japanese pattern that you can see on kimonos. As arrow aim to the target, it has been considered as an auspicious pattern. In the Edo period, kimono of this pattern were given to the new brides wishing for her luck. Because it was said that if women had this patterned kimonos when they left parents home, she would not get unlucky, divorced and come back like the arrow would not return.

Recommended Care: Machine wash with cold water and hang dry, no dryer for avoiding shrinkage.
