We cut regular three-fold tatami to your desired size and wrap tape around the edges.
How do I order?
1. First, choose the base tatami. Choose a tatami with a width the same as or greater than the width you want.
2. Then choose the style of the cut.
One cut USD 45.
Two cuts USD 90.

The tatami will be cut by machine, but please allow us a difference of about 1 cm.
This item will not be cancelled or returned after ordering for any reason other than defective items.
It takes 2 weeks or more to make.
Due to the small size limit of EMS for US customers, semi-double or larger size may be a 5-folded tatami.
Due to EMS size restrictions, we are unable to send tri-fold double size packages to the U.S. We will use 5-fold double size tatami as a customized base.
This unit tatami mat can be used as a mattress. The mat has been designed to perfectly match the size of futon mattresses, allowing you to easily lay out your futon on top of it. After putting away your futon, the mat can also be used to transform your space into a simple Japanese style room or into a play space for children. The mat’s igusa straw offers many benefits, including a natural air purifying effect as well as humidity control. The mat also controls the humidity underneath the futon. Spread it out underneath your futon for extra comfort without unwanted stuffiness.

You can’t choose between 3, 4, 5 fold of double-size. We will send the one that is in stock and ready to ship.

*The color of the edges may look different from the color of the center, but this does not mean that the product is defective. The difference in color is not caused by color fading or exposure to sunlight. It is due to the natural characteristics of rush grass.

Words cannot express how much we appreciate the work done by Futon Tokyo. We bought the foldable tatami with a one cut ticket. The product arrived with perfect cutting size and the edges and surface of the tatami is just like an art to us. Don't even mention the smell of the tatami which makes you feel so calm that you are in the nature. The delivery was very efficient and accurate without any damage to the carton box.
