This blanket is designed with an arrangement of Kumiko patterns, also known as “wooden lace,” which have been used in Japanese architectural styles since ancient times. The soft and fluffy blanket has a drape thanks to the soft, light, knit-like elasticity of the Chikiri weave.
This blanket is very light and easy to carry, making it ideal for use as a lap blanket. It is a convenient blanket that can be used inside or outside of a kakefuton. It is also a great gift idea.

What is Chikiri weave ?
Chiriki weave is an innovative woven blanket. It was created using a new technology that involves weaving stretchy yarns rather loosely, raising them, and then heat-treating them to shrink the fabric.
The characteristics of the fabric woven in this way are elasticity, lightness, softness, and warmth due to the raised finish. It has high heat retention due to its large air layer, and it stretches and shrinks like a knit.
