It’s a type of method of wabuton making which is to sew up two pieces of the same size outer and lining fabrics. “Kenuki” means to sew two pieces of fabrics up so tightly that no room for a hair can be found. If the outer and lining fabrics have different motifs, it can be used by reversing a futon.
