twill-kiji

It is a fabric which is often used for making a futon. Also, called aya-ori in Japanese. Two or more distinct sets of warp and weft yarns are interweaved to make a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs on its surface. The twill weave fabric having 45 degree diagonal line is called seisoku-shamon. This fabric has wrinkle-resistant properties. Also, it feels smooth to the touch and less expensive.
